Heatherwood is a non‐profit private community for residents 55 years of age and older. It is located on County House Road and Mount Pleasant Road in Washington Township, Gloucester County, New Jersey. It is approximately 60.1 acres in size and has 160 residential dwellings.
Heatherwood is an attractive, well kept, and well maintained community. Everything, from its entrances enhanced by signage, its pond with water fountain and surrounding white vinyl fence, its picturesque gazebo, to its open common grounds landscaped with numerous trees that serve as an impressive scenic surrounding, makes Heatherwood a very special place to live. Homeowners take considerable pride in their community, which is evidenced by the well manicured and maintained lawns and flowerbeds and their homes, which are immaculately kept.
While Heatherwood does not have any recreational facilities on its premises, it does have various Community Committees. Many of our residents are volunteers on these committees, and they contribute a great deal to Heatherwood and its success.
